  1. •Begin Autopsy of Fetal Pig.

         – Intro to Safety Equipment (PPE = Coats, Gloves, Goggles, Masks)

         – Establishment of:
                + Groups

                + Name of Victim

                + Standard anatomical position of victim on table

                + Cleaning procedures


8 Tuesday: A & B students (due BOC Sep 8 Tuesday)

  1. •Handout Overview of Chapter 1.

  2. •Reminder of the resources available in the packet and on the Web.

  3. •Work day to prepare for Thursday’s exam over chapter 1.

  1. •Welcome B-day students back and workday as needed to get caught up with A-day students (Inclusive of review of the answers for all of the concept check questions assigned thus far (pp 2-20))

31 Monday: Both A and B students (due BOC Sep 1 Tuesday)

  1. •In class, watch the video on terminology associated with Body Cavities while completing the portion of the packet associated with it (p 5 Color the Graphic).

  2. •In class, watch the video on terminology associated with Regions of the Abdomen while completing the portion of the packet associated with it (pp 8-9 Lab Activity).

  3. •Then, in class, complete the reading assignment from the text pages 14–20 and answer the concept check questions (on paper or in your Chromebook) at the end of those readings (p17 & p20).


28 Friday: Both A and B students (due BOC Aug 31 Monday)

  1. •Review answers for all of the concept check questions assigned thus far (pp 2-13) and take (and retake as needed) quizzes over:

• Intro to Anatomy Physiology (pp 4-6)

• Human Body Orientation & Directional Planes (pp 7-10)

• Patient Positions (pp 10-12) and

• Body Movements (pp 12-13)


27 Thursday: Both A and B students (due BOC Aug 28 Friday)

  1. •In class, watch the video on terminology associated with Human Body Movement while completing the coloring handout associated with it.

  2. •Then, in class, complete the reading assignment from the text pages 12–13 and answer the concept check questions (on paper or in your Chromebook) at the end of that reading.

  3. •For next time, organize your answers for all of the concept check questions and be ready to go over answers and to have quizzes.


26 Wednesday: Both A and B students (due BOC Aug 27 Thursday)

  1. •Watch the video on terminology associated with Directional Planes while completing the coloring handout associated with it.

  2. •Then complete the reading assignment from the text pages 9–10 and answer the concept check questions (on paper or in your Chromebook) at the end of that reading.

  4. •Then complete the reading assignment from the text pages 10–12 and answer the concept check questions (on paper or in your Chromebook) at the end of that reading.

  1. •Become acquainted with the materials present on the Clarksville Science web page and receive the packet for Unit A.

  2. •Complete the reading assignment from the text pages 2 – 6 and answer the concept check questions (on paper or in your Chromebook) at the end of that reading.
